GuideMeet is a free directory that connects people travelling overland with their own vehicle to independent local guides. There are no commissions and no intermediary: travellers read the profiles and contact guides directly.

In one paragraph
Overland travel means crossing countries with your own 4x4, motorcycle, camper, van or bicycle, often on unpaved roads and for weeks at a time. The hard part is rarely the vehicle. It is knowing which track is passable this season, which crossing needs a permit, and who to call when something breaks two hundred kilometres from the nearest town. That knowledge belongs to people who live there. GuideMeet makes those people findable.

The logo and the photographs on the site can be used in articles about GuideMeet, without modification and with attribution. Photographs of guides and of their trips belong to the guides: ask us and we will ask them.

Write to legal@guidemeet.it with "Press" in the subject. A person answers, usually within a day. We can arrange interviews with local guides in most of the countries listed above, in English, Italian, French or Spanish.
