These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GuideMeet application ("Service") operated by GuideMeet LLC.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service
GuideMeet is a technology platform that connects travelers with local guides.
GuideMeet is:

NOT a provider of travel services
•
GuideMeet does not organize, manage, or supervise trips.
2. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:

You agree to use the Service at your own risk.
3. High-Risk Activities Disclaimer
Off-road travel, remote expeditions, and outdoor activities are inherently dangerous.
Risks include, but are not limited to:
•
Physical injury or death
•
Isolation and lack of emergency support
•
By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept all risks.
4. Limited Verification
GuideMeet:
•
Does NOT verify guides' identities
•
Does NOT verify insurance, vehicles or qualifications
•
Does NOT guarantee accuracy of any information
•
All profile information is user-generated.
•
The only exception is the "Licence verified" badge. In some countries, where the licensing authority publishes an official register, GuideMeet automatically looks up the licence number a guide enters and shows the badge if the register lists a licence with that number under the same name. The check is repeated every month.
•
The badge only means that such a licence appears in the public register on the date of the check. It does NOT confirm that the person using the profile is the licence holder, and it does NOT certify the quality, safety or legality of any service. A guide without the badge is not necessarily unlicensed.
5. No Responsibility
GuideMeet is not responsible for:
•
Misconduct by users or guides
•
Inaccurate or misleading information
5b. Services with a Similar Name
GuideMeet operates only on www.guidemeet.it and in the GuideMeet apps published by GuideMeet LLC on the App Store and Google Play. guidemeet.com and any other similarly named website, app or social account are run by third parties that are in no way affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to GuideMeet, and GuideMeet has never authorized them to use its name.
GuideMeet accepts no responsibility for the content, services, profiles or transactions of guidemeet.com or of any such third party. Any agreement or payment made there is between you and that third party.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
GuideMeet shall have ZERO liability.
You agree that GuideMeet is not liable for any damages of any kind.
7. Assumption of Risk
You explicitly agree that:

You participate in activities at your own risk
•
You are responsible for evaluating risks
•
You waive any claims against GuideMeet
8. Legal Compliance
You agree to:
•
Comply with all applicable laws
•
Not use the Service for illegal activities
•
GuideMeet is not responsible for how users choose to act.
9. Guides and Agencies
Guides and agencies:
•
Are NOT employees or partners of GuideMeet
•
Operate entirely at their own responsibility
10. Content
You retain ownership of your content.
You grant GuideMeet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
•
your content within the Service.
11. Prohibited Content and User Conduct
GuideMeet has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior.
The following are strictly prohibited:
•
Hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
•
Sexual or explicit content
•
Content that exploits or endangers minors
•
Impersonation or fraudulent profiles
•
Spam, phishing, or deceptive practices
11b. Reporting and Blocking
Users may report content or other users they believe violate these Terms using the "Report or block" function available on every guide and trip page.
GuideMeet commits to reviewing all reports within 24 hours and taking appropriate action, including content removal or account suspension.
Users may block other users. Blocked users' content will no longer appear to the blocker.
12. Moderation
GuideMeet may:
•
Suspend or terminate accounts
•
at any time, without notice or explanation.
13. Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration.
You waive:
•
The right to go to court
•
The right to participate in class actions
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
16. Acceptance
You must accept these Terms via checkbox to use the Service.
