Desert Sahara Life was born in M’hamid El Ghizlane, the gateway town where the paved road ends and the Moroccan Sahara begins. For more than 10 years, our team of nomad guides has led travellers from Marrakech and Ouarzazate deep into the desert — across the remote dunes of Erg Chegaga, the quiet sands of Erg Zahar and the golden peaks of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. While we offer shorter Sahara tours, our true speciality is the longer journey: multi-day treks on foot and by camel, following ancient caravan routes, sharing meals around the fire and sleeping under one of the clearest night skies on earth. Every trip is run in small groups, with local guides who know the desert not as a destination but as home.
