TRAVEL PROGRAM TUNISIA NOVEMBER 7-16, 2026 ART. 1: PRESENTATION AND TRAVEL PROGRAM: Dunes and off-road on the sand... but not only! A journey to discover the south of Tunisia: we will get to know Douz, with its excellent mint tea and its characteristic atmosphere. Four days in the desert will give us the opportunity to have fun on the dunes, pushing south into less frequented areas, up to the oasis of Ain Ouadette. We will then visit the Berber cities of Chenini (UNESCO heritage), Toujane, Matmata, spending the night here in a hotel with rooms carved into the rock, as per local style. Nature, off-road, culture, and traditions... all as always in small groups and off the usual routes!!! DATES: November 7 - 16 DURATION: 10 DAYS ACCOMMODATIONS: 3 nights in 4* hotel, 3 nights in bivouac, 1 night in a tented camp, 2 nights on the ferry

Monday, November 9 Departure south to reach Douz, the gateway to the desert. Check-in at the hotel, refueling tanks, and last purchases for supplies. Free evening to enjoy the atmosphere of the square with mint tea and local bazaars. Dinner and overnight stay in 4* Hotel.
Tuesday, November 10 – Friday, November 13 Departure for the adventure in the desert: four intense days among sand, dune ridges, and technical driving in remote environments, up to the "ponds" of Ain Ouadette, the oasis well known by Sahara enthusiasts. On Friday, the last stop will be special: the beautiful ridge of Zmela. Three nights in bivouac in the desert and one in a camp set up in Zmela.
Saturday, November 14 Stop north with a visit to the Berber city of Chenini. Crossing the spectacular mountains of the interior to Matmata, the troglodyte city. Overnight stay in a typical hotel with rooms carved into the rock.
Sunday, November 15 Early departure for the return to Tunis, with a stop in El Jem to visit the grandiose Roman amphitheater. Arrival at the port by 15:00. Departure of the ship at 19:00.
