Day 1: Marrakech – Kasbah Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Agdez (270 km)

After breakfast at the Riad at 8:30 AM, departure towards OUARZAZATE crossing the High Atlas mountain range. Spectacular rural landscapes, high mountains dotted with numerous Berber villages testifying to the preserved authenticity of the place, accompany us to the TIZI TICHKA pass at 2260 m. We will arrive at KASBAH AÏT BENHADDOU, located in a beautiful position, nestled in an almond grove. So beautiful with its play of light that it has become the backdrop for many famous films such as "Lawrence of Arabia" and "A Tea in the Desert". A kasbah of such pride that it has become a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the only kasbah that shows intact the architecture of southern Morocco. Continuation to AGDEZ. Day 2: Agdz - Kasbah Tamnougalt - Alnif - Rissani - Merzouga (300 km)

Departure from Agdz towards the beautiful Draa Valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs for the succession of a large number of these ancient residences along the valley, nestled on the slopes of red earth and the scene of authentically Berber life. An immense palm grove will accompany us to the village of AGDEZ. Here, visit the splendid KSAR OF TAMNOUGALT, a charming kasbah that also belonged in the past to the Pasha of Marrakech, "Il Glawi". Along the road from Agdz to RISSANI, we will encounter numerous Berber villages. Stop in the town of Rissani to visit the lively local market. A small town but rich in history, it was the scene in ancient times of important trade exchanges, precisely in the original SIJILMASSA located at the gates of Rissani. In this vast site, caravans of merchants from Black Africa once arrived to exchange their goods. The journey continues towards Merzouga, from where we will depart on camelback in a caravan (about 1:20h), accompanied by a camel driver. You will witness the sunset among the dunes. A magical setting in the Erg Chebbi desert. At the camp, a traditional dinner will be served. After dinner, a lively party animated by the rhythm of drums and Berber music under thousands of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Visit of the Merzouga area – Khamlia village - Night in tent (90 km)

After breakfast, the day is dedicated to discovering the desert territory of Merzouga. Among sand dunes and expanses of black volcanic stone desert, you can admire numerous small traditional villages: the village of Tissrdmin, a natural set for many films, and the charming village of KHAMLIA, home to an important internationally renowned music group, where you can attend a short performance of Gnawa music. Walking among the volcanic stones, you can find fossil stones as evidence of the ancient origins of this curious territory. We will also visit a nomadic family where we will stop for traditional and typically Berber tea. This way, we can get to know their traditions more closely and admire the simplicity of their lifestyle. Return to the village at the gates of the desert surrounded by the delightful dunes of Erg Chebbi. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges (270 km)

After breakfast, departure towards ERFOUD where we can witness the processing of fossils for which the area is rich. We will continue our journey towards the TODRA GORGES, in a spectacular setting populated by Berber villages and oases. Visit the TODRA GORGES carved into the mountains and articulated in sinuous canyons of red rock coveted by the torrent and softened by a landscape of lush palms, a stunning rocky landscape. Lunch in a restaurant at the Todra Gorges. The journey will continue to the DADES VALLEY, admirable for its enchanting views and curious rocks, expressions of past eras. Overnight stay with dinner in a hotel.

Day 5: Dades Gorges – Rose Valley – Kasbah of Ameridil – Marrakech (330 km)

Visit to the majestic DADES GORGES, the journey proceeds towards Ouarzazate crossing the ROSE VALLEY, an area characterized by extensive cultivation of damask roses, from which, through various processes, essences, creams, rose water, perfumes, etc. are produced. Arrival in SKOURA, visit to the KASBAH OF AMERIDIL. Then continue towards Marrakech through the high Atlas mountains where we will arrive in the late afternoon.
