Spain's equivalent to the Alps, and no less majestic, definitely a little wilder and perhaps a bit more rustic in general. The Pyrenees provide adrenaline rushes galore, its plethora of exciting offroad tracks encompassing imposing mountain peaks to some fast flowing rivers, through terrain offering regular opportunities for wild camping. Traversing the length of this spectacular range from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, you will experience the real beauty of unspoiled nature, exploring the most un-touristy, remote and rugged wilderness areas of Catalonia in the east, and the Basque Country in the west. As with the Alps trip, this fantastic adventure is particularly well suited to families with kids, not least because we take lots of leisure time out of the vehicles, immersing ourselves in the most stunning natural environments. The campsites en route are some of the nicest to be found anywhere, and one is virtually guaranteed a swimming pool at the end of the day. Fully catered as always, also including outdoor adventure activities (canyoning, tree canopy courses and zip-lines).
