Orcas, Condors & Pumas – Patagonia 4x4 Photo Expedition

An overland 4x4 expedition across Patagonia, from the Atlantic coast to the Andes, built around three of the continent's great wildlife images.

ORCAS: at Punta Norte, Península Valdés, orcas deliberately beach themselves to hunt sea lion pups. It's one of the very few places on Earth where this happens, and it peaks in March–April. CONDORS: along the Andes, from El Chaltén to the Torres del Paine cliffs, at eye level from the ridges. PUMAS: in the Torres del Paine area, tracked on foot with local experts in the autumn light.

Between the three, we drive the empty steppe of Ruta 40, with guanacos, rheas, foxes and the light photographers travel for. Private or small group (max. 6), traveling in our own 4x4s with a local guide who knows the nests, trails and timing. 10–14 days, tailor-made. Season: March–April.

Pricing on request. By R40 Expeditions (r40expeditions.com), the wildlife photography arm of R40MOTO.
