Join Planto Morocco for a challenging 2-day express ascent of Mount Toubkal (4,167m) from Marrakech. Ideal for fit hikers with limited time.
ITINERARY:
Day 1: Marrakech → Imlil (1740m) → Toubkal Refuge (3207m) 08:00 Pick-up from Marrakech hotel/riad. 09:30 Drive to Imlil, meet mountain team & Berber tea. Trek starts: Ait Mizane Valley → Sidi Chamharouch (2350m) shrine - lunch break. Afternoon: Steep ascent to Toubkal Refuge / Neltner Hut (3207m) - 5-6h walking. Dinner & overnight at refuge.
Day 2: Refuge → Toubkal Summit (4167m) → Imlil → Marrakech 05:00 Early breakfast. 05:30 Summit push - 3-4h climb to Toubkal summit (4167m). Summit time: photos & 360° views of High Atlas Mountains. Descend to refuge (2h), lunch. Descend to Imlil (4-5h walk) + transfer to Marrakech (arrival 18:30).
