Starting Point: Arusha, Tanzania Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights Destinations: Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Conservation Area

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast in your comfortable selected accommodation, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, diverse birdlife, and beautiful savannah landscapes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing with an afternoon game drive. You may encounter elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, and many bird species.

Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or tented camp in the Tarangire/Karatu area.

DAY 2: TARANGIRE – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast in your comfortable selected accommodation, enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire, giving you another opportunity to explore the park and photograph its wildlife and spectacular landscapes.

After lunch, depart towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through the scenic highlands, with opportunities to enjoy the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania.

Arrive at your accommodation near the Ngorongoro Crater rim or in the Karatu area.

Dinner and overnight at your selected accommodation.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER GAME DRIVE

After breakfast in your comfortable selected accommodation, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

Explore the crater floor, where you may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and other wildlife. The crater is also known for its opportunities to spot black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the spectacular scenery before continuing your game drive.

In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to your accommodation.

Dinner and overnight at your selected lodge or tented camp.

DAY 4: NGORONGORO – ARUSHA

After breakfast in your comfortable selected accommodation, begin your journey back to Arusha.

Depending on your departure time, you can enjoy a scenic stop along the way or have lunch before arriving in Arusha.

Your safari ends with drop-off at your hotel or another agreed location in Arusha.
