Discover the vibrant capital of Mauritania with a local guide who knows the city inside out. This tour is perfect for travelers who want to experience the culture, daily life, and main highlights of Nouakchott in a short time. During the tour, we visit the fishing port, where you can see colorful traditional boats and the lively arrival of fresh fish. We continue to the camel market, one of the most unique markets in West Africa, and the central market, full of local products, spices, and handicrafts. We also include a stop at the sand dunes near Nouakchott, where you can enjoy the desert atmosphere just outside the city, followed by traditional Mauritanian tea experience with a local touch. Depending on time, we can also add the National Museum or a walk along the Atlantic coast. I will share insights about Mauritanian culture, history, and everyday life, making the experience authentic and memorable.
