10 Nights / 11 Days Northern Circuit Heritage Waterfalls and South Luangwa.

Theme: Waterfalls, lakes, cultural landscapes, walking safaris and game drives.

Day 1 - Lusaka to Kundalila Falls Distance: about 450 km | Driving time: 6-7 hours Depart Lusaka early morning along the Great North Road. Stop for lunch in Mkushi, then continue to Kundalila Falls on the Muchinga Escarpment. Enjoy a guided walk to the base of the falls and a swim in the natural pool below. Accommodation: Kundalila Falls Campsite. Highlights: Kundalila Falls walk, scenic escarpment views.

Day 2 - Kundalila Falls to Samfya, Lake Bangweulu Distance: about 360 km | Driving time: 6 hours After breakfast, continue north through Serenje and Mansa to Samfya Beach on Lake Bangweulu. Accommodation: Samfya Beach Lodge. Highlights: White sandy beaches, sunset over the lake.

Day 3 - Full day at Samfya Spend a relaxing day by Lake Bangweulu. Optional activities include a boat cruise, local fishing village tour or swimming. Accommodation: Samfya Beach Lodge.

Day 4 - Samfya to Ntumbachushi Falls Distance: about 200 km | Driving time: 3-4 hours Drive north to Ntumbachushi Falls, one of Zambia's most beautiful and historic waterfalls. Explore upper and lower falls, swim in natural rock pools and enjoy a picnic lunch. Accommodation: Ntumbachushi Falls Campsite.

Day 5 - Ntumbachushi to Lumangwe and Kabwelume Falls Distance: about 140 km | Driving time: 3 hours Depart for Lumangwe Falls, Zambia's mini Victoria Falls. Later visit Kabwelume Falls, only 5 km downstream. Accommodation: Lumangwe Falls Campsite. Highlights: Twin heritage waterfalls, hiking, photography, birdlife and rare black monkeys.

Day 6 - Lumangwe to Kasama Distance: about 310 km | Driving time: 5 hours Scenic drive through the Northern Province countryside to Kasama. Accommodation: Chishimba Falls Campsite or Kasama Lodge.

Day 7 - Chishimba Falls and return to Lusaka Explore Chishimba Falls in the morning, then fly from Kasama Airport to Lusaka. Overnight at Wild Dog Lodge in Lusaka.

Day 8 - Lusaka to Mfuwe / South Luangwa Flight to Mfuwe Airport and transfer to Zikomo Safari Camp for 3 nights.

Days 8-10 - South Luangwa activities from Zikomo Safari Camp Activities include morning game drives, bush walks, afternoon/night drives and village tours. Two activities per day.

Day 11 - Return to Lusaka Flight back to Lusaka and end of the trip.
