The full Carretera Austral, all the way to its end at Villa O'Higgins, and back north through Argentina on the legendary Ruta 40. 13 days, from Bariloche back to Bariloche.
We cross the Andes at Cardenal Samoré, sail the fjords of the Gulf of Corcovado, ride the gravel heart of the Carretera (Chaitén–Coyhaique–Tortel), visit the Marble Caves on Lago General Carrera and reach Caleta Tortel, the boardwalk village. We return to Argentina via Paso Roballo, then take the steppe of Ruta 40 and the lakes of Los Alerces back to Bariloche.
Bring your own motorcycle or 4x4 (we can transport bikes from Buenos Aires), or rent one of our BMW GS. A pillion is welcome.
INCLUDED: BMW-certified moto guide, support vehicle with driver-mechanic, 12 nights in 3–4★ hotels with breakfast, ferries, Marble Caves boat trip, welcome and farewell dinners. NOT INCLUDED: flights, fuel, other meals, bike repairs, medical insurance.
From USD 3,870 per rider (own motorcycle). Expect long gravel sections, so solid adventure-riding experience is needed.
