The United States for overland travelers
The United States is not one overland destination but a whole route library. Utah slickrock, Colorado alpine passes, Arizona desert, Nevada basins, Pacific Northwest forest roads, Appalachian gravel and the long public-land network all create different styles of vehicle travel.
Moab and eastern Utah are the strongest global symbols: red rock canyons, White Rim-style routes, BLM tracks, slickrock trails and easy links toward Colorado. Colorado adds high passes such as Imogene, Ophir and Engineer, while the Backcountry Discovery Routes create structured long-distance corridors for adventure motorcycles and capable vehicles.
