NICARAGUA — 10 Days by Tuk-Tuk Nicaragua is the kind of destination that experienced travellers mention quietly, as though sharing something they're not sure they want too many people to know about. Central America's most underrated country. Volcanoes on the horizon, colonial cities painted in fading pastels, lake islands with their own distinct cultures, and a quality of welcome that is entirely, unmistakably genuine. You join as a team of two or three. That pairing is the engine of the whole thing — someone to navigate, someone to drive, someone to argue about which road looks more interesting. On day one, before anything else, your team completes a full training session: vehicle familiarisation, driving practice, route briefing, and everything you need to feel confident before the adventure begins. From day two, the rhythm takes over. Each morning your team sets off from one destination to the next — around 700 kilometres unfolding across nine driving days through a country that rewards the unhurried and the curious. Highland roads give way to lakeside tracks, stretches where the landscape opens up and the driving becomes something close to meditation. Along the way, daily app-based challenges cover language, food, culture, photography, and physical tasks — adding a thread of friendly competition between teams that sharpens as the days go on. Groups are capped at ten teams, keeping the experience intimate and the footprint light. The Tuk-Tuk draws attention here in the best possible way. It slows things down, opens doors, and starts conversations that don't happen any other way. Large Minority handles the training, the vehicles, the accommodation, and a local support crew positioned across the route. The road — and everything on it — is yours. Who should join: Adventurous travellers looking for a destination that feels genuinely off the beaten path without sacrificing beauty, culture, or depth. Come with a friend, a partner, or someone you're about to get to know very well indeed.
