Nestled in southwestern Uganda along the borders of Congo and Rwanda. Bwindi hosts approximately 460 of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas making it to 47%, thus the premier destination for an unforgettable gorilla trekking safari experience. Besides mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you can also spot other primates like chimpanzees, olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys, and black-and-white colobus. If you’re very lucky, you might even see forest elephants, along with butterflies and various bird species.
