Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park

Depart Kampala or Entebbe in the morning and travel northwest through Luweero, Nakasongola where you will stop over for rhino tracking experience and Masindi towards Murchison Falls National Park. Continue through the park to the northern sector, enjoying scenic views and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Arrive at your mid-range lodge in the afternoon, relax and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Accommodation: Mid-range lodge in or near the park.

Day 2: Game Drive – Nile Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls

Start the day with an early morning game drive through the northern sector of the park. Explore the savannah plains in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs and other wildlife. After lunch and some relaxation, take a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. Look out for hippos, crocodiles and numerous bird species along the riverbanks before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Top of the Falls – Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, visit the Top of Murchison Falls, where the powerful Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging over the falls. Enjoy the spectacular viewpoints and take in the scenery before beginning the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe via Masindi. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening, marking the end of your safari.
