15 DAYS UGANDA SAFARI EXPERIENCE

The 15 days’ safari experience takes you through the touristic sites in central, eastern, northern, western and south of Uganda.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe international airport.

You will be picked up by the company guide. Upon early arrival, opt for Kampala city tour

Accommodation; Bush pig (HB)

Day 2; Transfer to Murchison falls.

After breakfast, set off to Murchison falls national park. visit Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking experience. proceed to the park with a stopover at the world’s strongest falls

Accommodation; Murchison falls bamboo village

Day 3; Game drive and Boat Cruise.

Wake up abit early to catch up the animals going to feed and cats hunting since they are active in the morning. Drive through the park looking for lions, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, buffalos and variety of bird species. In the afternoon, do a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls with chances of seeing animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks among others

Accommodation; Murchison Falls Bamboo village

Day 4: Transfer to Fort portal city (Tourism City)

Start the day driving to the western part of the country with beautiful views of African communities and villages, Tea plantations, farms among others. Upon arrival, relax and wait for the next activity. You can opt for the community walk.

Day 5: Nyinamwiru caves and Crater Lakes Hike

After breakfast, embark on your journey to the historic Nyinamwiru caves. The visit to the caves is extraordinarily nice viewing different features like stalagmites and stalactites among others. Later hike to view the crater lakes adjacent to the caves. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. upon early arrival, do an evening game drive

Accommodation: Enshama game lodge or same range.

Day 6: Game drive and Boat cruise.

Early morning, set off for the game drive in Kasenyi plains with expectations of seeing animals like lions, leopards among others. Later in the afternoon, sail along Kazinga channel and see crocodiles, buffalos, elephants, hippos among others.

Day 7; Chimp Tracking at kalinzu forest and Crater Lakes Experience

Wake up early for the morning game drive to the briefing point of kalinzu forest reserve (home to chimps). This activity takes about 4 hours through the rain forests. Upon finding the chimps, spend an hour with them. Later, drive to the crater lakes (Twin Lakes) where beauty meats creation.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

After breakfast, embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park driving through beautiful landscapes of Kigezi highlands. Upon arrival, visit the indigenous Batwa community.

Accommodation: Bweza gorilla lodge

Day 9: Bwindi impenetrable forest (Home of the mountain Gorillas)

The day starts with briefing from authority rangers as you get ready to see the mountain gorillas. The journey goes through thick and mountainous forest. Upon meeting the gorillas, spend an hour with them. After trekking, drive back to the lodge and wait for the next day activity. You may opt for community experience.

Day 10: Transfer to Bunyonyi

After a hot breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi-Home of 29 Islands. Upon arrival, you will do a boat cruise visiting some of the Islands like; The famous punishment Island with its history.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

With the beautiful sunset, embark on the journey to Lake Mburo -Uganda’s Smallest Savannah Park. You shall engage in an evening game drive with chances of sighting animals like; zebras, impalas, elands, topis, leopards among others. Later on proceed to your accommodation.

Accommodation: Hyena Hill

Day 12: Walking Safari in Lake Mburo National Park

With the beautiful sunrise, drive to the park entrance gate for the briefing of walking safari. You will be joined by the ranger guide who takes you through the park with chances of sight animals like; zebras, Ugandan kobs, giraffes, impalas, water bucks, bush bucks among others. Later in the evening, you shall have Ankole cattle experience where you shall see the long horned cattle.

Day 13: Drive to Entebbe

You shall have hot breakfast and embark on your journey to Entebbe driving through beautiful scenic landscapes. You will have a stopover at the equator. Upon early arrival, you will visit the Entebbe botanical gardens.

Day 14: Shoebill Tracking Experience

A shoebill is one of the most iconic birds in Uganda found in Mabamba swamps (Lake Victoria). You will be briefed then, start your journey to Mabamba swamps on water. Upon finding it, spend some time with it taking photos and videos. Later sail back to the main land

Accommodation: Airport Link Guest House

Day 15: Departures

Depending on your time of flight, you may have an activity such as shopping, visiting the craft markets, Entebbe city walk among others. Later prepare for your flight. This Marks the end of the safari.
