Hi! My name is Philemon Joel; I was born and raised in the northern Tanzania at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. I spent my childhood in an area known for its amazing beauty, with open plains, distant mountains, and an abundance of wildlife surrounding me every day. These were not just beautiful places to look at; they were part of what I experienced throughout my childhood. As a young boy, I grew attached to the natural world and all that it offered me. I spent much of my time outside, listening to stories about local cultures, learning about the various cultures that make up Tanzania, and simply being part of the wonder of nature. My experience as a child has defined who I am today; I continue to explore different parts of Africa, visiting everything from picturesque mountains to peaceful beaches along the Indian Ocean. Each location has a unique personality, and I love discovering the little things that set them apart from one another — the music, the food, the conversations, and the traditions that create the uniqueness of each culture. I speak Swahili and English fluently and enjoy meeting people from around the world.
