Addis Ababa is a city where history, culture, tradition, and modern life come together in one place. On this city tour, you will visit some of the most important attractions in Ethiopia’s capital while experiencing the everyday atmosphere of the city. After meeting you at Bole International Airport or your hotel, the tour heads to Entoto Park, situated on the hills above Addis Ababa. The area offers fresh air, green scenery, and impressive views overlooking the capital. From there, continue to the National Museum of Ethiopia, where ancient archaeological collections and the famous Lucy fossil are displayed. A visit to Merkato gives you the chance to experience the energy of Africa’s largest open-air market. Walking through its busy streets, you can see local trade, traditional products, spices, coffee, textiles, and handicrafts. The tour also includes Friendship Park, one of the city’s modern recreational spaces featuring fountains, gardens, and relaxing walking paths.
