Embark on a journey through Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, into the lush depths of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Step into the ancient forest for a rare encounter with the giant mountain gorillas a moment that stays with you forever. From the rain forest, you will also see Batwa people who were once part of this forest, staying there, depending on the forest for food, shelter, medicine and almost everything. It will be a three days’ worth your time and full of memories that will leave with you forever.

DETAILED ITINENARY Day 1: Welcome to the Pearl of Africa Your guide will meet with you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a long drive that will take around 10hours drive. On your way you will get to see different community settings, have stopovers for refreshments and a stretch. Arrive at your hotel for overnight stay and enjoy the coolness of the place. Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Meal Plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 3: Spend time with the Gorillas and the Batwa community Wake up to the mist and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi. After breakfast, gather at the park headquarters for a safety briefing before heading for a search of Gorillas. The trek ranges from 1 to 6 hours depending on where the gorilla family moves. Standing in the presence of these gentle giants for an hour offers an intimate look at their daily interactions, feeding habits, and natural instincts. Afterward, trek back to collect your trekking certificate, then return to the lodge to for hot lunch if you didn’t opt for packed lunch. Relax the whole afternoon and in the evening, visit the Batwa and get to participate in some of their day to day activities and storytelling. In the evening after dinner, relax at the fireplace with other guests and interact or decide to head to your room for personal time.

Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Meal Plan: Full Board (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 3: Scenic view of the journey & Equator Crossing Begin your final day with a peaceful breakfast before setting off on a drive back toward Entebbe. Your route winds through Mbarara, the traditional land of milk and honey, stopping at the Igongo Cultural Center for lunch and Farther along, stand on the Equator line in Kayabwe for a classic water-coriolis demonstration, photos, and souvenir shopping. Continue directly to Entebbe International Airport to board your evening flight home or to your hotel. Meal Plan: Half Board (Breakfast, Lunch)
