My name is Vítor, and as a passionate local guide, I love showing visitors the real Madeira, far beyond the usual tourist routes.
We’ll travel along scenic old roads, narrow mountain lanes, steep uphill roads, and exciting off-road tracks where permitted, discovering breathtaking landscapes, traditional villages, lush forests, and hidden viewpoints.
Along the way, I’ll share fascinating stories about Madeira’s history, traditions, agriculture, local products, lifestyle, and the island’s unique flora and fauna.

Lombo da Quinta Viewpoint Our first stop offers wonderful panoramic views over Funchal and the surrounding mountains.
Pico do Arieiro Experience one of Madeira’s most spectacular mountain viewpoints, approximately 1,818 metres above sea level, with breathtaking mountain scenery and, when conditions allow, beautiful views above the clouds.
Ribeiro Frio & Levada Walk Discover the beauty of Madeira’s Laurissilva forest. We’ll enjoy a short, easy levada walk, subject to trail conditions, surrounded by lush vegetation, while learning about native plants, birds, and local nature.
Faial Visit this picturesque area on Madeira’s northeast coast, surrounded by dramatic mountains, green valleys, and stunning ocean views.
Santana Explore the charming village of Santana, famous for its colourful traditional triangular houses with thatched roofs, a beautiful symbol of Madeira’s heritage.
Pico do Facho Enjoy a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Machico, the Atlantic Ocean, and Madeira’s eastern landscapes.
