I'm Willem, founder of Outbound Moto, based in St Francis Bay in South Africa's Eastern Cape. We run 7-day self-guided adventure motorcycle tours: you ride on your own, we handle everything around you. The bike, luggage, a GPS loaded with the route, pre-booked overnight stops with secure parking, airport transfer and 24/7 breakdown backup are all included.
Two routes, both around 70% gravel. Cape2Karoo crosses the Baviaanskloof, the Karoo and its historic passes. Frontier & Mist climbs into the Eastern Cape Highlands, on high, technical passes for riders who enjoy a challenge. We ride all year, and custom routes are possible.
Every route I hand over has been ridden or confirmed by me first, and every enquiry gets a personal reply.
